Job description

Responsibilities
At Rolling Hills, our mission is to offer compassionate, safe, effective behavioral healthcare treatment. We use solution-focused strategies and diligently strive for a safe and positive environment for patients, families, and employees. We never forget that we provide care and comfort to people in need.
The Registered Nurse (RN) provides direct patient care as prescribed by the physician and treatment team. The RN provides medical management and assessment of patients; ensures environmental safety and crisis management for the patient population; directs the implementation of behavior management programs and ensures consistent carry-through. The Registered Nurse is responsible for making the patient and task assignments to subordinates and monitors their duties. The RN provides training and education to staff, patients, families; documents patient care and ensures data is accurate and included in the master treatment plan via timely nursing care plan updates. The RN works with the treatment team to provide consistently therapeutic milieu.

Shift Differential:
$4/hr nights, $3/hr weekend days, $7/hr weekend nights
Qualifications
Education/Training: Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
Licensure/Certification:
Current Tennessee State Registered Nurse License
Current CPR certification (training provided)
Current Handle With Care (HWC) certification (training provided)
Experience: One year inpatient psychiatric experience with adults and adolescents preferred.
