Trinity Industries, Inc. Corporate Security Department is searching for a talented team player to fill the open position of a full-time Security Officer in our Ft. Worth, TX plant! We welcome your ideas and your outstanding work ethic.
The Security Officer conducts regular monitoring of our property, as well as serving as the first point of contact for visitors entering the building or property, which may vary from location to location. This individual also assists with investigating on-site incidents, preventing theft, and calmly mitigating escalated situations. Additionally, the Security Officer acts as a liaison between customers, visitors and employees, as well as prepares documentation necessary to support the security administration program.
*This is a full-time night shift position with a complete benefits package.
Schedule:
•Mon: 5:30 PM – 3:30 AM
•Tue: 5:30 PM – 3:30 AM
•Wed: 9:30 PM – 2:30 AM
•Thu: 9:30 PM – 2:30 AM
•Fri: 5:30 PM – 3:30 AM
•Sat: OFF
•Sun: OFF
What You'll Do:
•Work year-round, inside and outside of buildings, with exposure to inclement weather and unpredictable crisis.
•Work on various surfaces and environmental terrain including but not limited to tile, wood, concrete, asphalt, grass, curbs, uneven gravel and dirt; uneven ground surfaces.
•Maneuver safely up and down flights of stairs multiple times during a shift.
•Lift, carry or push weight in the following range: 5 to 25 pounds.
•Stand and/or sit at an assigned post from 2 hours to 10 hours (with legal break times).
•Work in a manufacturing environment with high levels of noise, dust, dirt, heavy equipment and manufacturing machinery such as: cranes, forklifts, presses, grinders, steel plates, welding equipment, etc.
•Work alone throughout shift, including nights.
