The ideal candidate will have experience in cardiovascular surgery and be able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care in the Cardiovascular Operating Room, including pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care- Monitor and assess patient's vital signs and condition during surgery- Assist with surgical procedures, including preparing and maintaining sterile fields, passing instruments, and providing supplies to surgeons- Administer medications and anesthesia as directed by the physician- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure safe and efficient patient care- Document patient care and communicate any changes in patient's condition to the physician- Educate patients and their families on post-operative care and recovery- Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulationsQualifications:- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Virginia- Minimum of 2 years experience in cardiovascular surgery- BLS and ACLS certification- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work well in a team environment- Flexibility to work variable shifts, including weekends and holidaysBenefits:- Competitive salary- Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance- 401(k) retirement plan with company match- Paid time off and holidays- Career development opportunities- Supportive and collaborative work environmentIf you are a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse with a passion for cardiovascular surgery, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity with Progeny HR Solutions LLC.
