Voici ce que Transcat a à vous offrir — Le poste de technicien en étalonnage I est un poste de débutant qui nécessite soit une formation dans le domaine de l’électronique ou de l’étalonnage, soit au moins un (1) an d’expérience en étalonnage. Les techniciens en étalonnage de ce niveau sont généralement capables d’étalonner des instruments de process d’entrée de gamme dans un maximum de trois (3) disciplines (par exemple : électrique, dimensionnelle ou pression). Le niveau de compétence et d’expertise est déterminé conformément à la matrice de progression des compétences des techniciens de Transcat.

Calibration Technician I is an entry-level position that requires either education in the electronics/calibration field or at least one (1) year of calibration experience.  Calibration Technicians at this level typically can calibrate low-end process instrumentation in up to three (3) disciplines (e.g., Electrical, Dimensional or Pressure).  Proficiency and expertise are determined in accordance with Transcat’s technician skills progression matrix.

Obligatoire : Diplôme de niveau bac +2 (associate degree) délivré par un établissement d’enseignement supérieur ou une école technique ; ou au moins un (1) an d’expérience et/ou de formation dans le domaine ; ou une combinaison équivalente de formation et d’expérience

Souhaitable :

  • Expérience ou formation préalable en électronique ou en usinage
  • Compétences mathématiques de base, notamment en algèbre, géométrie et statistiques
  • Maîtrise des outils à main de base
  • Maîtrise des logiciels Microsoft Office, notamment Word, Excel et Outlook
  • Compétences en organisation et en gestion du temps

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work with other technicians within the lab to learn calibration fundamentals, which can include measurement, temperature, electronics, etc.
  • Identify and utilize appropriate measurement techniques
  • Maintain calibration standards
  • Working knowledge and competency in at least three 3 disciplines (dimensional, electrical, torque, temperature, pressure, etc.)
  • Perform calibration work within a laboratory setting and/or while supervised at a customer on-site
  • Fulfill duties safely under working conditions, in keeping with Company requirem
