Management Analyst

We specialize in providing management and technology consulting services to support the business and technology modernization efforts of the Federal Government. ThinkTek was formed with the specific purpose of providing its clients a tailored solution around Program & Project Management, Strategic Planning, and IT Operations.

Position Overview

ThinkTek is seeking a Senior Management Analyst to support a federal customer by providing budget planning, financial analysis, program management, and business operations support. The successful candidate will assist with budget formulation, execution, financial tracking, reporting, reconciliation, and process improvement initiatives supporting large-scale government programs and operational activities.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain budget forecasts, spend plans, and financial projections for current and future fiscal years.
  • Prepare budget justifications, impact assessments, and supporting documentation for leadership review.
  • Analyze program funding requirements and provide recommendations for resource allocation.
  • Monitor budget execution, expenditures, obligations, and funding availability.
  • Perform financial analysis, reconciliation, and reporting across multiple financial management systems.
  • Support funds control, transaction tracking, cash flow analysis, and expenditure forecasting.
  • Develop financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for government stakeholders.
  • Participate in budget reviews, planning meetings, and program management activities.
  • Conduct business process analysis and recommend improvements to financial and operational processes.
  • Coordinate with program offices, contracting personnel, and financial stakeholders to support mission objectives.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in budget analysis, financial management, program analysis, management consulting, or related business operations support.
  • Degree must include or be supplemented by coursework in accounting, business, finance, economics, contracts, purchasing, industrial management, quantitative methods, organizational management, or a related field.
  • Experience with federal budget planning, execution, and financial reporting processes.
  • Hands-on experience with PRISM, Delphi, and Budget Planning and Management System (BPMS).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace tools.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an FAA Public Trust.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting FAA programs or other federal civilian agencies.
  • Knowledge of federal financial management systems and budget lifecycle processes.
  • Experience developing spend plans, funding forecasts, and expenditure analyses.
  • Familiarity with contract funding management and financial reconciliation activities.
Clearance Requirement

Ability to obtain and maintain an FAA Public Trust.
