Role Description
The Associate will be responsible for performing legal research, drafting legal documents, attending court hearings, preparing case files, and advising clients. Day-to-day tasks also include conducting depositions, negotiating settlements, and collaborating with senior attorneys on complex cases. The role may also involve representing clients in various legal proceedings.
Qualifications
  • Legal research and analytical skills
  • Experience in drafting legal documents and court filings
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Client advisory and case management skills
  • Negotiation and courtroom experience
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team and independently
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
  • Membership in good standing with the New Jersey State Bar
  • Prior experience in a law firm setting is a plus
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
