POSITION OVERVIEW
  • Drive origination of off-market land acquisition opportunities through structured outbound communication, targeted market engagement, and relationship development with property owners, brokers, and municipal stakeholders.
  • Conduct initial opportunity assessments, including review of market fundamentals, zoning parameters, seller motivation, value drivers, and preliminary financial feasibility.
  • Manage all seller communication with precision, ensuring every interaction is documented in CRM system with comprehensive notes, next steps, and clear follow-up timelines.
  • Oversee the full lead lifecycle for an assigned geographic region, maintaining accountability for outreach cadence, opportunity progression, and the advancement of all viable prospects.
  • Prepare transaction files for leadership review, consolidating seller insights, property data, correspondence history, and qualification benchmarks to support informed decision-making.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless handoff of viable opportunities and support critical milestones through the acquisition pipeline.
  • Execute a disciplined outreach and re-engagement strategy, including follow-up on escalated leads, prior contacts, and partially responsive sellers.
  • Develop rapport with landowners and stakeholders to support negotiation readiness, clarify expectations, and ensure alignment with BayfordBridge's acquisition process.
  • Provide structured reporting to the Director of Acquisitions detailing pipeline status, conversion metrics, risk considerations, and opportunities requiring strategic escalation.
  • Uphold institutional communication standards, maintaining accuracy, professionalism, and clarity across all verbal and written correspondence.
  • Support transaction execution, including offer preparation, coordination of due diligence requirements, and logistical oversight of site visits, seller meetings, and municipal engagements.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct high-volume outreach while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • High competency in CRM usage and disciplined task management.
  • Ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously and perform effectively under deadlines.
  • Self-driven, accountable, and comfortable with performance accountability and KPI-based expectations.
  • Experience with land, entitlement-driven transactions, or development projects is preferred.

SCHEDULE
  • Monday-Friday, 9 AM-6:00 PM EST (flexibility required).
  • Additional availability during evenings or weekends based on deal urgency, contract deadlines, or seller needs.
  • Travel as required for site visits, municipal engagement, and high-priority deal activity.
  • A professional, punctual, and highly organized work style is expected.
