  • Collaborate with cross functional professionals to develop tax strategies and provide comprehensive client service.
  • Identify tax planning opportunities and recommend practical solutions that improve compliance and minimize tax risk.
  • Maintain current knowledge of changes in US tax legislation, IRS regulations, and international tax reporting requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through responsive communication, technical expertise, and proactive service.
  • Contribute to process improvements, workflow optimization, and best practices that enhance operational efficiency and service delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in US tax compliance within a public accounting or professional services environment.
  • US CPA, Enrolled Agent (EA), or active pursuit of one of these professional designations is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of US federal income tax laws, international tax reporting, cross border taxation, and foreign information reporting requirements.
  • Experience preparing and reviewing complex US individual tax returns and international tax forms.
  • Excellent tax research, analytical thinking, and problem solving skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex tax concepts clearly.
  • Proven leadership experience mentoring, coaching, or supervising junior accounting or tax professionals.
