    Job description

    A leading global financial services organization is seeking an experienced Sourcing Consultant to join its strategic procurement team. This position plays a key role in supporting enterprise-wide sourcing initiatives, negotiating complex supplier agreements, managing vendor relationships, and partnering with business stakeholders to deliver cost savings while mitigating risk.

    This is an excellent opportunity for procurement professionals who thrive in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment and have experience negotiating technology, professional services, or financial services agreements.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Lead and support strategic sourcing initiatives across multiple business units.
    • Negotiate complex supplier contracts, pricing, and commercial terms while balancing cost, risk, and business objectives.
    • Partner with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop sourcing strategies.
    • Evaluate supplier proposals and conduct detailed commercial analyses.
    • Review and negotiate agreements involving software, technology, professional services, market data, and other indirect spend categories.
    • Ensure sourcing activities comply with internal procurement policies, regulatory requirements, and risk management standards.
    • Identify opportunities to improve supplier performance, reduce costs, and optimize sourcing processes.
    • Collaborate cross-functionally with legal, finance, risk, and business teams throughout the sourcing lifecycle.
    • Support multiple sourcing projects simultaneously while meeting established timelines and business priorities.
    Qualifications
    • 4+ years of strategic sourcing, procurement, or vendor management experience.
    • Experience negotiating complex commercial agreements and supplier contracts.
    • Strong knowledge of indirect sourcing methodologies and procurement best practices.
    • Ability to analyze complex business requirements and develop sourcing strategies.
    • Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
    • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
    Preferred Experience
    • Strategic sourcing experience within a large financial services organization or Fortune 100 enterprise.
    • Experience negotiating agreements involving:
      • SaaS and cloud-based software
      • On-premise software licensing
      • Professional services
      • Market data
      • Financial or broker service agreements
    • Experience supporting business areas such as:
      • Investment Banking
      • Wealth Management
