Job description

CNC Boring Mill Machinist
Join a well-established manufacturing team where your machining expertise will be valued and you"ll have the opportunity to work with a variety of complex fabrications and castings. This is a hands-on opportunity for an experienced machinist who can confidently set up and operate large boring mill equipment with minimal supervision.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
-Set up and operate vertical and horizontal boring mills, including CNC and manual equipment as needed.
-Perform machining of fabrications and castings, ensuring work meets blueprint and dimensional requirements.
-Read and interpret blueprints and use precision measuring tools to verify dimensions and quality.
-Work independently with minimal supervision while supporting production needs and working overtime as required.
Required Skills & Experience
-Minimum of 3 years of recent, hands-on machining experience.
-Proven ability to set up and operate vertical/horizontal boring mills with minimal supervision.
-Ability to read and interpret blueprints and accurately use precision measuring instruments.
-Willingness and ability to operate both CNC and manual machines as needed.
Preferred Skills & Experience
-Familiarity with Mastercam.
-Experience with SolidWorks is a plus.
Pay Rate Range - 30 per hour +
