Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Physical Therapist to join our team at Synchrony Rehabilitation Center in Lehigh Acres, Florida. As a full-time member of our rehabilitation team, you will evaluate, plan, and implement patient-centered treatment programs designed to restore function and improve the quality of life for our diverse clientele. This role not only requires clinical expertise but also a strong commitment to fostering healing relationships with patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients referred by physicians, utilizing standardized assessment tools, and develop tailored treatment plans based on individual needs.
  • Implement various therapeutic techniques and modalities applicable to orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine patient populations.
  • Educate patients and their caregivers regarding the treatment process, best practices in rehabilitation, and strategies for promoting recovery.
  • Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, sharing insights to optimize patient progress and outcomes, and actively participate in case discussions.
  • Document patient progress in line with state regulations and organizational policies, ensuring accurate and timely updates for the healthcare team.
  • Aim to meet predetermined utilization goals while providing exceptional customer service and maintaining high standards of care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population encompasses a wide variety of needs and backgrounds, including individuals recovering from surgery, managing chronic conditions, and those seeking rehabilitation through sports injury. You will have the rewarding opportunity to work with pediatric patients to geriatrics, tailoring your approaches to suit varying physical challenges and personal goals for improved mobility and functionality.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Current, valid license to practice Physical Therapy in the state of Florida.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association.
  • Proficient communication skills, both written and verbal, to ensure effective interactions with patients, families, and team members.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills, with proficiency in electronic medical record systems.
  • A genuine desire to build rapport and trust with patients, encouraging them to exceed their rehabilitation goals.
Preferred Experience

Applicants should possess a minimum of two years of experience as a Physical Therapist working in a clinical setting. Experience with diverse patient populations and specialized treatment methodologies will be considered an asset, as will familiarity with contemporary rehabilitation technologies and practices.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 – 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes performance-based incentives, health insurance, a 401(k) plan with profit sharing, and generous paid time off.
