Work Environment

This role is set within our dynamic home care environment, where you will work directly with patients in their residences, providing exceptional therapy services onsite. Our focus on home care allows us to offer personalized rehabilitation programs in a comfortable setting, tailored to the individual’s lifestyle and recovery needs. Our operational hours are Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, ensuring a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to effectively identify patients’ goals and specific needs.
• Manage a streamlined caseload of one patient per hour, ensuring focused and attentive care.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans utilizing advanced manual therapy techniques and exercise protocols.
• Engage patients in educational discussions to reduce reliance on medications and promote non-surgical treatment options.
• Design tailored fitness and wellness programs that enhance strength, flexibility, and overall coordination.
• Monitor and evaluate treatment outcomes, adjusting care strategies to optimize patient recovery and functionality.
• Thoroughly document all patient interactions and interventions in accordance with industry standards and practices.
• Provide motivation and encouragement to patients throughout their rehabilitation journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on orthopedic patients, including those recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions affecting their movement and quality of life. By offering specialized care in a home setting, we can adapt to each patient's specific challenges and create an effective rehabilitation plan that fits seamlessly into their daily routines.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• Impeccable professional record with no disciplinary actions or complaints.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy and exercise prescription techniques.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR), specifically WebPT software.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated success in developing individualized treatment plans for varying patient needs.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to engage patients effectively.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this full-time position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
