    POSITION OVERVIEW
    As a Traveling General Superintendent - Aviation your roles and responsibilities will include:
    The client is seeking an experienced Traveling General Superintendent - Aviation to lead large, complex aviation construction projects across the U.S. The role is responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing all field operations while ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards.
    Key Responsibilities
    • Lead all field operations for large aviation construction projects.
    • Manage project schedules, sequencing, budgets, and daily site activities.
    • Supervise project staff, subcontractors, suppliers, and field teams.
    • Drive a strong safety culture and ensure OSHA compliance.
    • Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, and project managers.
    • Conduct daily, weekly, and owner meetings.
    • Oversee QA/QC, inspections, documentation, and project closeout.
    • Manage material procurement, equipment, logistics, and workforce planning.
    • Support project buyouts, contract administration, and change management.
    • Recruit, mentor, and develop field personnel.
    • Implement Lean construction principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Lead multiple projects and provide strategic input to company leadership.
    QUALIFICATIONS
    Most importantly, you need to be a passionate Traveling General Superintendent - Aviation who enjoys his work and is considered to be one of the best within your organization. The ideal Traveling General Superintendent - Aviation would be someone with deep experience in many (if not all) of the following:
    Required Qualifications
    • 12+ years of construction experience.
    • 10+ years of field supervision experience.
    • Experience leading $100M+ aviation construction projects (Required).
    • Proven ability to manage large, complex aviation projects from planning through completion.
    • Strong leadership and team management skills.
    • Advanced knowledge of construction means and methods.
    • Experience managing subcontractors, schedules, budgets, and quality.
    • Valid driver's license.
    • Willingness to travel extensively.
    Preferred Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
    • Experience implementing Lean construction practices.
    • Experience with project management, scheduling, and construction technology software.
