Job description

Overview
The Landscaper position will be responsible for maintaining the park's quality landscapes and ensure a clean, friendly and safe environment for our guests and Team Members. The Landscaper position will maintain all flowerbeds, landscape maintenance, planting, watering, pest management, and more. This is a seasonal position from May-September.
Pay: $12.50/Hr
Responsibilities
  • Perform general landscaping duties such as planting, watering, weeding, hedging, mowing, etc.
  • Leaf blowing, hosing, and maintaining all walkways, seating areas, etc.
  • Maintains all landscaping tools, supplies, and ensures all equipment is in safe working order
  • Performs routine inspections of entire park to maintain a quality level that meets the guest and Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Splashtown standards
  • Follow established cleaning protocols and safety guidelines
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Maintain Six Flags' Guest First Standards
  • Communicating team or park related concerns to the Landscaping Supervisor
  • Enforcing all Six Flags policies
  • Performs all other duties as assigned or as necessary to support the Landscaping Department and Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Splashtown

Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness and safety standards
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision
  • A clear demonstration of excellent Guest Service skills and an evident commitment to our Guest First philosophy
  • Adhere to Park Attendance Policy as stated in the Six Flags Seasonal Handbook
  • The availability to work flexible hours and varied shifts including weekdays, weekends, and holidays
  • The ability to stand and walk for long periods of time outdoors in various weather conditions including but not limited to extreme heat and sun
  • Meet the physical demands of the job, including bending, pulling and lifting up to 60 lbs. alone or 100
