    Job description

    The Opportunity:

    Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories, Inc. ("SEL") seeks professional, innovative and detailed individuals for our Senior Engineer - Power position located at our Lynnwood, Washington field office.

    If you are looking for an opportunity to work with industry experts while participating in developing cutting edge products, then this may be the position for you!

    Senior Engineer - Power (Multiple Openings)

    Responsibilities:

    The Senior Engineer - Power will develop and maintain strong working knowledge and technical expertise in SEL's electrical power system equipment types and related protection, monitoring, and control issues. The incumbent will apply the principles of electrical engineering to: (1) serve as a project development lead; (2) undertake technical and market analysis in connection with the evaluation of proposed products or enhancements; (3) gather and maintain data on competing products in assigned product areas; (4) draft and maintain application literature, instruction manuals, and data sheets as appropriate; (5) develop and analyze product specifications and functional tests; and (6) undertake improvements of SEL research and development initiatives.

    These positions will be based out of the company's Lynnwood field office located at 2700 162nd St. SW, Suite 302, Lynnwood, Washington 98087. These positions require regular on-site work at the Lynnwood office and do not permit remote work or work-from-home arrangements.

    Salary Range: $181,900.00 to $185,900.00 per year.
