    NOTE: This role is based in New York City and encourages a minimum of two days per week in the SoHo office. Some roles or teams may require additional in-office attendance if the essential functions of the role require it.

Within this mission, the Trade division brings award-winning and bestselling books to young readers everywhere through strategic publishing, marketing, and distribution.

    The Assistant, Trade Advertising supports the planning, execution, and optimization of paid media campaigns across multiple marketing teams. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is data-driven, proactive in problem-solving, and eager to contribute ideas that improve campaign performance and operational efficiency.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Assist with scheduling and setup of Amazon Marketing Services (AMS) campaigns

    • Maintain organized documentation using Google Drive, spreadsheets, and Airtable

    • Track campaign timelines to confirm launches occur as planned, proactively flagging risks or delays and helping implement solutions.

    • Ensure accuracy for seasonal advertising grids for each marketing team, translating marketing plans into clear placement schedules that outline vendors, formats, timing, and key campaign details.

    • Research new advertising vendors and partners aligned with target audiences, campaign objectives, and brand strategy.

    • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure all advertising deliverables are received accurately and on time

    • Provide general administrative and project coordination assistance to ensure smooth execution of advertising initiatives and marketing support.
