Hiring Range $129,376.00 to $176,800.00
Summary of Job Responsibilities:
SCF programs are established to serve a primary population comprised of Alaska Native people who are affiliated with Cook Inlet Region, Inc. (CIRI) and Alaska Native and American Indian people within SCF's geographical service area. Employees should have a thorough understanding of the cultures and the needs of this population. Such knowledge is critical to ensure the achievement of SCF's vision of a Native Community that enjoys physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual wellness, and mission of working together with the Native Community to achieve wellness through health and related services.
The Pediatric Hospital Medicine department is looking to hire full time Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join our team in providing culturally appropriate healthcare to the inpatient pediatric nursery, NICU babies, and infants up to the age of 2 years old within the Alaska Native Medical Center.
The Neonatal Nurse Practitioner will have night shift coverage from 7:30pm-7:30am with a 4 nights on, 3 nights off rotation followed by 3 nights on 4 nights off rotation, with some variation for holiday rotations.
  1. Licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in the State of Alaska.
  2. Current certification as a NP through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) or American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
  3. Meets all requirements in order to obtain associate medical staff membership and required privileges of service.
  4. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required. ACLS, NRP, ATLS, ALSO, and PALS as required for specialty and any certification relating to the scope of practice as required.

Additional Qualifications for Pediatric Hospital Medicine:
  1. Pediatric Hospital Medicine: Certification as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP-BC) through the National Certification Corporation (NCC) or similar certifying body.
