    Job Description/Responsibilities
    The Logistics Specialist I is responsible for helping to improve logistics services domestically and globally across the company, preparing optimized loads by weight and route, achieving on time pickups, scheduling, on-time deliveries, eliminating out of stocks, maximizing load factors, minimizing freight and storage costs and facilitating claims. This position works with all domestic and global customers, facilities and partners. Assisting to ensure raw materials and finished products are transported safely and efficiently, balancing the costs and service levels and maintaining compliance with all government regulations.
    What You'll Do
    • Exceeding expectations across all customer segments, including external and internal customers. Needs in all areas are supported, and requests and complaints are addressed as much as possible to the satisfaction of all customers.
    • An ongoing effort to improve products, services, or processes. These efforts can seek "incremental" improvement over time or "breakthrough" improvement all at once. All are evaluated in the light of their efficiency, effectiveness and flexibility.
    • Utilize the MyDevelopment system to help facilitate regular feedback sessions between team member and manager, overall grid rating for each team member, 360 degree feedback program.
    • Support cost saving projects that will drive costs out of the business without resulting in a reduction in quality.
    • Measure Key Performance Indicators for all company disciplines and create a system that will automatically extract and/or collect data for each indicator that will be displayed in Dashboards and Reports

    Qualifications/Requirements
    Required
    • Bachelor's degree
    • Experience in process design, implementation and improvement
    • Ability to communicate with all levels of an organization
    • Ability to manage multiple projects at one time
    • Strong customer service aptitude, ability to work with all levels of the organization from field level to executive management
    • Demonstrate the ability to work as a team as well as self-directed
    • Ability to quickly learn new systems/processes
    • Strong analytical and technical skills
    • Detail oriented
    • Strong planning and organizational skills

    Preferred
    • 1-2 years experience in distribution, warehousing, and/or transportation
    • 1 year global supply chain experience
    • Experience in alcohol beverage industry or cpg overall

    The hourly range for this role is $26.40 - $39.60. Final compensation will be based on relevant experience, qualifications, geographic location, and internal pay equity considerations.
