    Role and Responsibilities

The Senior Manager, Global Enterprise and Public Sector Sales is responsible for owning Samsung Mobile's end-to-end growth strategy and sales execution across Verizon Business Group's (VBG) Global Enterprise and Public Sector organizations. This individual will serve as Samsung's primary strategic owner for the VBG relationship within these segments, driving revenue, volume, market share, and pipeline growth by strengthening Samsung's operating model, establishing sales discipline, and building executive-level alignment across both organizations.

The successful candidate will be equally comfortable in senior client-facing engagements and in the operational details of funnel management, account planning, and business performance analysis. This role requires deep fluency in B2B enterprise technology sales, strong knowledge of the mobile solutions landscape, and the ability to lead change and drive adoption across complex, matrixed organizations. Technical acumen, polished executive communication, and a proven track record of overachievement against quarterly and annual targets are essential.

    • Own Samsung's VBG Global Enterprise and Public Sector growth strategy, including segment-specific go-to-market plans, annual sales targets, and quarterly execution frameworks; establish measurable objectives and quantify results across pipeline, revenue, volume, conversion rates, and market share.
    • Develop comprehensive account and business strategies informed by analysis of VBG's organizational priorities, financial performance, customer base, competitive landscape, and portfolio positioning.
    • Partner with VBG enterprise and public sector sales teams to develop account-level strategies and advance opportunities from identification through close across Samsung's full B2B portfolio, including smartphones, tablets, PCs, wearables, accessories, and software and services.
    • Own funnel quality, CRM hygiene, forecast accuracy, and opportunity progression; maintain 100% accuracy in Salesforce business opportunity management and lead adoption of new account-planning, forecasting, and business-review processes across VBG field organizations.
    • Monitor sales performance against plan, identify variations and root causes, and develop corrective action plans; design and execute channel-specific tactical plans that maximize team resources across internal and external stakeholders.
    • Build and maintain executive and field-level relationships across VBG's Global Enterprise and Public Sector organizations; serve as Samsung's primary coordination point across internal Carrier Sales, Marketing, Product, IT, Legal, and Finance teams.
    • Lead recurring executive business reviews with VBG leadership and prepare detailed management analyses, business plans, and performance reports for both functional and senior executive audiences.
    • Develop scalable, AI-enabled sales workflows; partner with IT, Legal, and business stakeholders to evaluate and implement compliant use cases and manage enablement to ensure VBG teams can effectively position the Samsung portfolio.
    • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of Samsung Mobile's hardware and software portfolio, including Android for Enterprise and EMM capabilities, to build credibility and advance Samsung's positioning in complex, solution-oriented opportunities.
    • Guide internal teams and external partners through changing priorities, new processes, and evolving business requirements; travel up to 50-60% to VBG headquarters, regional offices, and field locations, with in-person presence as required at Samsung offices.
    • Entrepreneurial mindset; self-starter with strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to operate with minimal direction.
    • Excellent interpersonal and facilitation skills; ability to build and sustain trusted relationships across internal teams, carrier partners, and end customers.

    Skills and Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree required; technical or business discipline preferred. Master's degree a plus.
    • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in enterprise technology sales, carrier business development, or B2B sales leadership, with direct exposure to both Global Enterprise and Public Sector segments.
    • Proven experience working at or in close partnership with a U.S. carrier's enterprise or business group; deep familiarity with Verizon Business Group's organizational structure, customer base, and sales processes strongly preferred.
    • Demonstrated track record of overachievement against quarterly and annual sales targets in a complex, multi-stakeholder sales environment.
    • Proven success leading organizational change and driving adoption of new sales processes, tools, and operating cadences across large, matrixed organizations.
    • Experience building and managing executive relationships within U.S. carrier organizations and influencing decisions across cross-functional teams.
    • Strong funnel management, forecasting, and CRM expertise; proficiency with Salesforce required.
    • Knowledge of Samsung's mobile portfolio - including smartphones, tablets, PCs, wearables, accessories, and software and services - or equivalent OEM product familiarity strongly preferred.
    • Experience developing or deploying AI-enabled or technology-driven sales workflows.
    • Solid experience with executive communication and presentation skills; ability to develop and deliver detailed PowerPoint presentations, financial analyses, and written business plans that clearly communicate strategy, performance, and recommended actions.
    • Professional experience with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
    • Experience managing multiple high-priority programs simultaneously and deliver results under pressure.
    • Experience presenting to senior business executives and technical audiences alike.
    • Experience with working collaboratively across global, cross-functional teams in a fast-moving, matrixed environment.
