    The Director of Strategy and Business Development will lead the development and execution of strategic initiatives to drive growth and profitability for the One Samsung B2B Integrated Offering Team within SEA Corporate Strategy. This role will focus on identifying new business opportunities, optimizing existing offerings, and fostering partnerships to enhance Samsung's market position in the B2B sector.

    Role and Responsibilities

    Primary areas of responsibility include

    • Strategic Vertical B2B Go-To-Market (GTM) Strategy: Develop and implement strategic plans to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities within the B2B market across Samsung's diverse lines of business (including Mobile, Computing, Display, Home Appliances) and affiliate companies (including Harman, Samsung HVAC, etc.).
    • Business Opportunity (BO) & Project Management: Collaborate with cross-functional/cross-LOB (line of business) teams to uncover and provide leads (BO) for One Samsung integrated offerings. Lead across the LOB business development teams to provide single point of contact and close the deals.
    • Strategic Partnership Development & CEO Networking Support: Build and nurture a network of external experts and C-level executives to bring innovative ideas and business opportunity/partnerships to Samsung. Identify, develop and manage C-level network in support of Samsung's North America CEO.
    • Executive Presence & Presentation Support: Develop One Samsung B2B pitch decks and lead cross-LOB presentations to enterprise and vertical customers and partners
    • Strategic Communication: Effectively communicate strategic plans, insights, and progress to executives and cross-functional teams to secure buy-in and drive execution.
    • Integrated Solution Planning: Drive the development of innovative solutions to meet evolving customer needs and market demands.
    • Performance Management: Monitor and analyze performance metrics to ensure strategic initiatives deliver measurable results.
    • Risk Assessment: Identify strategic risks and opportunities, developing proactive strategies for risk mitigation while capitalizing on emerging opportunities.
    • Strategic Initiatives: Lead the identification, prioritization, and implementation of key strategic initiatives, ensuring they deliver on strategic objectives.

    Skills and Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Technology or a related field. MBA preferred.
    • 12-14 years of relevant experience in strategy, technology, B2B business development, or a similar role.
    • Experience in B2B enterprise sales cycles and vertical market strategy (e.g. Banking & Financing, Healthcare, Retail, Transportation, Government, Hospitality, etc.)
    • Proven track record of leading strategic initiatives and driving business growth.
    • Demonstrated success in developing and executing strategic partnerships.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
    • Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
    • Experience collaborating with senior executives across a large organization
    • Demonstrated strategic planning and execution skills
