As an Associate Programmatic Account Manager โ Independent Agencies at Samba TV, you'll support day-to-day account management for a portfolio of independent agency clients, making sure they get the most out of Samba's audience targeting and measurement solutions. You'll be the go-to point of contact for your clients across the full campaign lifecycle (planning, audience setup, activation, QA, and reporting), and you'll partner directly with Sales, Product, and Measurement to drive adoption, performance, and growth. This is a high-growth role for someone early in their programmatic career who is ready to take direct responsibility for client relationships, campaign outcomes, and account growth across the independent agency landscape.
Location requirement: Must live within 50 miles of a Samba office. Required in office 3 days a week (Tuesday through Thursday), moving to 4 days a week (Monday through Thursday) starting January 4th, 2027, with the possibility of moving to 5 days a week in office after that.

Support day-to-day account management for a portfolio of independent agency partners, serving as the go-to point of contact across planning, audience setup, activation, QA, and reporting
Partner with Sales on account plans, renewals, pre-sale planning, and flagging upsell opportunities, aligning agency goals with Samba's audience and measurement solutions
Monitor campaign delivery, surface risks and underdelivery early, and produce performance summaries, insights, and business reviews that drive adoption and growth
Build trusted relationships with programmatic, trading, strategy, and analytics stakeholders across the independent agency landscape
Campaign & Platform ExecutionManage audience segment setup and delivery across major DSPs, SSPs, DMPs, and social platforms for agency-led campaigns
Support agency partners through the full activation lifecycle: planning, audience building, activation, and QA
Troubleshoot audience delivery or integration issues and coordinate with technical teams to resolve activation challenges quickly
Provide platform education and training on how to request, build, and deploy Samba audiences within independent agency programmatic workflows
Strategic Partnership & Cross-Functional CollaborationAct as the feedback loop between independent agency partners and internal teams (Product, Measurement, Revenue Operations, Finance) to improve ease of activation, workflow efficiency, and audience performance
Partner with Sales on pre-sale planning, platform demos, and aligning agency and brand goals with Samba's audience and measurement solutions
Represent Samba's audience products with growing expertise and a consultative, agency-first approach, building your knowledge by staying current on programmatic trends and contextual targeting best practices

What you bring:
- 1โ2 years of experience in account management, customer success, campaign operations, client services, or a similar role within ad tech, digital media, or programmatic advertising (relevant internships count)
- Agency experience (internship, coordinator, or assistant roles at a media, digital, or programmatic agency) is strongly preferred
- Familiarity with or strong interest in programmatic advertising concepts, including DSPs, SSPs, DMPs, and digital campaign workflows
- Nice to have: Familiarity with or strong interest in one or more DSPs (e.g., The Trade Desk, DV360, Yahoo DSP) and/or SSPs (e.g., OpenX, Magnite, Freewheel); hands-on exposure is a plus
- Solid written and verbal communication skills, with confidence engaging clients directly via email and on calls
- Analytical mindset with an interest in campaign performance and data-driven decision-making
- Strong Excel skills (SUMIFS, INDEX/MATCH, pivot tables, VLOOKUP); SQL is a plus
- Comfortable with or willing to learn CRM and project management tools (Salesforce, Jira, Asana, Trello, etc.)
- Eagerness to deepen expertise in programmatic, audience, and contextual advertising
- BA/BS with a focus on marketing, business, data, communications, or related experience

Samba TV expects to offer a base salary between $70,000 - $80,000 USD per year for roles to be performed in California; actual base salary offered will depend on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. Base salary is just one component of Samba TVโs total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include bonuses, short-term incentives, and long-term incentives.
