Job Summary

The MES (Manufacturing Execution System) Strategic Business Consultant advises clients on digital transformation, innovation, and strategies to improve business performance. This role enhances product development processes and enterprise technologies while shaping solutions for complex business and technical challenges. It supports organizational change initiatives to ensure successful adoption of new tools and processes.

The consultant collaborates closely with leaders and sales/delivery teams to understand client needs, industries, and competitive landscapes. Additionally, the role contributes to software engineering activities, including system design, programming, testing, and on-site implementation across multiple simultaneous projects.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for activities related to advising external clients on improving business results through digital transformation, consulting, and managed services.

  • Consult with clients on key business imperatives related to innovation, strategy, and product development.

  • Improve client's product development processes and enterprise technologies.

  • Contribute to the solution design of large, complex business and technical problems and assist with organizational change management efforts to help clients achieve a successful implementation of their new processes and/or tools.

  • Collaborate closely with leaders and sales/delivery teams to understand clients, industries, and competitive landscape.

  • Have a multitasking profile and the ability to participate in simultaneous projects, with primary responsibilities including the execution of software engineering services-design, system programming, testing, and implementation at customer sites.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent field.

  • Strong ability to engage in business-level discussions with clients, demonstrating a clear understanding of their operational challenges and strategic needs. The role requires a professional with proven business acumen-preferably someone coming from the industry or business domain-who can be trained on our tools and methodologies to effectively translate business requirements into technical solutions.

  • Experience as a Systems Analyst/Developer/Software Engineer in Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) projects.

  • Knowledge of programming languages, databases, system infrastructure, and interfaces.

  • Availability to travel at least 50% of the time and work at customer sites.

  • Advanced English communication skills - both spoken and written.

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

  • Experience with virtualization environments.

  • Knowledge of networks and communication protocols.

  • Familiarity with Rockwell solutions/products such as PharmaSuite, ThingWorx, FactoryTalk or others.

  • Experience in the development/coordination of industrial automation projects based on Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and/or programmable controllers (PLC/PAC).

  • Technical certifications (MESA, ISO, etc.).
