Work Environment

This full-time position is primarily remote, providing flexibility and allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home while contributing to the overall goals of our community health clinic. Your schedule will generally be Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 4 PM, with some potential flexibility required to accommodate client needs. As you engage with our diverse clientele, you will collaborate with a team of experienced mental health professionals, sharing insights and strategies to enhance the quality of care delivered.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough clinical assessments using evidence-based practices to establish comprehensive, tailored treatment plans.
  • Utilize various therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), to implement effective treatment interventions.
  • Maintain complete and confidential clinical documentation, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and upholding the highest standards of patient privacy.
  • Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary treatment team, which includes psychiatrists and psychologists, to provide the most effective care strategies.
  • Participate in regular case consultations and peer review meetings to refine and enhance therapeutic approaches.
  • Educate patients and their families regarding mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources, fostering empowerment and knowledge.
  • Stay abreast of the latest trends and research within the mental health field to continually improve clinical practice.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will involve engaging with a diverse patient population, offering support to individuals from various backgrounds who are experiencing emotional distress or mental health issues. This includes client demographics ranging from adolescents to adults, all seeking assistance in navigating their mental health challenges. By employing a client-centered approach, you will adapt your therapeutic methods to meet the unique needs of each individual while respecting their personal narratives.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • An active license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Arizona.
  • A strong understanding of solution-focused psychotherapy techniques, with the ability to customize care based on individual client assessments.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients, families, and colleagues alike.
  • Proven problem-solving and critical thinking capabilities that enable effective decision-making in clinical scenarios.
  • A collaborative mindset with a commitment to supporting a team-oriented and constructive work environment.
Preferred Experience
  • Demonstrated experience in providing mental health therapy in a clinical setting, ideally within a community health context.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for managing clinical documentation and treatment plans efficiently.
  • Experience in leading group therapy sessions or workshops that focus on skill-building and support for clients.
