Job Description RCS Staffing has an immediate need for a Distribution Engineer in Oklahoma City, OK. This is a full time, direct hire, onsite with our client. Overview of YOUR role as a Distribution Engineer You will provide engineering and technical expertise to solve complex problems and demonstrate leadership skills in managing work within your area of expertise.
The role offers increased latitude for independent work. As a Distribution Engineer YOU will: Provide coaching and mentorship to other Engineering professionals. Review and oversee the work of subordinate Engineering professionals.
Deliver engineering/technical expertise and guidance in identifying, analyzing, and solving problems. Plan, organize, estimate, schedule, and monitor work activities effectively. Create thorough and accurate technical reports, documentation, calculations, and sketches.
Continuously improve job-related, engineering, technical, and professional knowledge, skills, and performance. Demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills. Maintain accurate records and files.
YOU are the ideal Distribution Engineer candidate if you have: 5+ years of experience as a practicing engineer or equivalent. State registration as a Professional Engineer (PE). Strong knowledge of engineering theories and principles.
Expertise in researching and evaluating engineering and design issues, recommending solutions, and presenting findings. The ability to work with individuals from diverse socio-economic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Experience in the utility industry. It's a BONUS if you have: Project management skills and experience.
