Traffic Engineer - Madison - Hybrid - Primary Responsibilities:
Position responsibilities include the following:
- traffic analysis and modeling
- safety studies
- traffic signal design
- roundabout analysis
- parking studies
- transportation planning
- pedestrian and bicycle evaluations
- multi-modal evaluations
- traffic signal timing
- signing and pavement markings
- work zone analysis
- intersection control evaluations
- conceptual improvement designs
- providing traffic support for public and private clients
- technical writing

Requirements
Traffic Engineer - Hybrid - Skills and Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from a U.S. accredited college or university with coursework in transportation and preferably traffic
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong problem solving skills
- Sound decision-making skills
- Experience with AutoCAD/Civil3D, Synchro, HCS, and Sidra is desired.ย
