    Job description

    About the Company
Rain makes the next generation of payments possible across the globe. We're a lean and mighty team of passionate builders and veteran founders. Our infrastructure makes stablecoins usable in the real-world by powering card transactions, cross-border payments, B2B purchases, remittances, and more. We partner with fintechs, neobanks, and institutions to help them launch solutions that are global, inclusive, and efficient. You will have the opportunity to deliver massive impact at a hypergrowth company that is funded by some of the top investors in fintech, crypto, and SaaS, including Sapphire Ventures, Norwest, Galaxy Ventures, Lightspeed, Khosla, and several more. If you're curious, bold, and excited to help shape a borderless financial future, we'd love to talk.
    Our Ethos
We believe in an open and flat structure. You will be able to grow into the role that most aligns with your goals. Our team members at all levels have the freedom to explore ideas and impact the roadmap and vision of our company.
    About the Team
Rain's Operations team keeps the business running smoothly behind the scenes, covering everything from vendor relationships and facilities management to the day-to-day experience of working at Rain. As Rain's New York presence grows, so does the need for a welcoming, well-run office that reflects the quality of the company. This role is the front line of that experience, equal parts hospitality, coordination, and operational support.
    What you'll do
    • Open and close the office daily, maintaining a consistent and welcoming environment from ~8:30am onward
    • Greet and direct all incoming guests, including clients, partners, and investors, ensuring every visit reflects well on Rain
    • Serve as backup support to the in-house NYC recruiter for welcoming and directing candidates on interview days
    • Manage office supply and pantry inventory, including ordering snacks, beverages, and essentials on a recurring basis
    • Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages, including coordinating couriers and deliveries
    • Maintain the front desk and common areas, flagging facilities issues and liaising with building management as needed
    • Occasionally support event logistics for in-office happy hours, team gatherings, and other New York-based programming
    • Assist with miscellaneous administrative tasks including document organization, filing, vendor coordination, and light legal admin support
    • Manage conference room calendars and assist with meeting setup and breakdown
    • Field general office inquiries and route requests to the right internal teams
    • Report directly to the Operations team and work on-site five days a week

You are likely to succeed if you have:
    • Prior experience in a receptionist, office coordinator, or front-of-house role, ideally in a professional or fast-paced environment
    • A warm, polished presence and strong interpersonal skills, particularly when interacting with senior external guests
    • Strong organizational habits and the ability to stay on top of multiple small tasks without things slipping
    • Comfort with ambiguity and a willingness to pitch in wherever needed
    • Discretion when handling sensitive information, whether related to visitors, legal documents, or internal matters
    • Proficiency with basic office tools including Google Workspace, Slack, and calendar management

    Bonus attributes:
    • Experience working at a startup or high-growth company where the office environment evolves quickly
    • Familiarity with facilities coordination or vendor management
    • Experience supporting event logistics or office programming
