    Job Description

    Bilingual Network Consultant (Japanese/English)

    On behalf of our client, Procom Services is searching for a Bilingual Network Consultant for a contract opportunity in New York, New York.

    Bilingual Network Consultant Job Details

    1. Responsible for providing maintenance, technical support, and troubleshooting the Local Area Network (LAN), Windows Servers, and VMware Infrastructure.
    2. Perform system and security administration for systems.
    3. Maintains the disaster recovery site and makes sure that the replication works properly.
    4. Responsible for system resource management. 
    5. Provides help desk service support to users.
    6. Liaisons with the vendors and contractors. 
    7. Runs system utilities for LAN and maintains written procedures and system documentation.
    8. Responsible for maintaining computer hardware and software inventories.
    9. Helps with coordination and preparation of various system audits and examinations.
    10. Performs the evaluation and comparative analysis of proposed hardware/software acquisitions.
    11. Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

    Bilingual Network Consultant Mandatory Skills

    1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer sciences or a comparable field with 3+ years of experience in network maintenance. 
    2. Good knowledge of LAN maintenance, Windows 2003/2008/2012 Server, Windows desktop, and Microsoft Office knowledge.
    3. Knowledge of Cisco networking, and Fortigate firewalls.
    4. MCSE (Microsoft Certified System Engineer) preferred.
    5. Bilingual oral and written skills on a business level in both English and Japanese required.
    6. Microsoft Exchange experience preferred.
    7. SQL knowledge, preferred.
    8. Financial institution working experience preferred.
