Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to assess their physical abilities and needs, focusing on movement dysfunctions related to orthopedic issues.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, modalities, and home exercise programs tailored to each patient's specific situation.
  • Educate patients and their families about treatment processes, recovery expectations, and strategies for coping with pain or limitations during rehabilitation.
  • Monitor and document patient progress, maintaining accurate medical records that detail treatments and patient responsiveness.
  • Provide hands-on techniques such as massage, manipulation, and mobilizations to alleviate pain and promote healing.
  • Assist patients in using assistive devices, including wheelchairs, walkers, and braces, ensuring their safety and comfort during rehabilitation sessions.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare providers to coordinate care and enhance treatment efficacy, participating in multidisciplinary team meetings as needed.
  • Stay updated on advancements in physical therapy practices and orthopedic rehabilitation trends to continually improve your practice and patient care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice serves a diverse population including individuals recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Qualifications
  • Active Physical Therapy license in the state of Florida, allowing for direct patient care within the outpatient setting.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy or equivalent qualification, with preference given to candidates holding a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an orthopedic physical therapy setting, demonstrating effectiveness in treating a variety of musculoskeletal conditions.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working in an outpatient clinic with high patient volumes, particularly in orthopedic rehabilitation.
  • Strong understanding of contemporary treatment methodologies and therapeutic modalities.
  • Exceptional communication skills to effectively connect with patients from various backgrounds.
