<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>1 Bachelor's degree from accredited institution is required.<\/span><\/span>
<\/p>\n
<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>2 Two years of experience in safety & environmental or engineering role.<\/span><\/span>
<\/p>\n
<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>3 Knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations, job safety analysis processes, accident investigation experience, and ISO 14000 & ISO 45001<\/span><\/span>
<\/p>\n
Duties:<\/span><\/span><\/b>
<\/p>\n
<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Ensure employees and operations maintain compliance with all environmental, health and safety regulations; and support the review of any changes to laws and regulations that impact the organization.<\/span><\/span>
<\/p>\n
<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Assist in maintain appropriate metrics, evaluate data trending, and provide data input to management reviews, with a view to continuous improvement and enhancement of EHS performance.<\/span><\/span>
<\/p>\n
<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Assist with the implementation of EHS policies, practices, guidelines, and procedures. Identify location\-specific requirements for each area and participate in the development of related programs and policies.<\/span><\/span>
<\/p>\n
<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Assist in developing training programs and conduct training to comply with regulatory corporate EHS initiatives.<\/span><\/span>
<\/p>\n
<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Coordinate incident\/accident investigation process including root cause analysis and ensure corrective actions are completed.<\/span><\/span>
<\/p>\n
<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Conduct environment, health and safety audits and risk assessments.<\/span><\/span>
<\/p>\n
<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Participate during external EHS compliance audits and loss prevention audits.<\/span><\/span>
<\/p>\n
<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Coordinate the completion of all corrective actions with site personnel resulting from risk assessments, compliance audits or loss prevention audits.<\/span><\/span>
<\/p>\n
<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Assist during the required permitting submissions for air, water, and land jurisdictional requirements.<\/span><\/span>
<\/p>\n
<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Serve as backup point of contact for government inquiries relating to EHS.<\/span><\/span>
<\/p>\n
<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Actively participate in the site S&E committee.<\/span><\/span>
<\/p>\n
<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Participate in the site's Continuous Improvement\/Lean\/5S activities.<\/span><\/span>
