    • Philadelphia
    • New Jersey
    • Nashville

    About the Firm
Our client is a nationally recognized boutique law firm with over 5 offices across the U.S. The firm is expanding its Healthcare practice and seeks senior attorneys passionate about providing proactive and strategic legal counsel in the complex and ever-evolving healthcare regulatory space. Known for a caring and supportive culture, the firm balances high performance with work-life integration. Attorneys are encouraged to independently develop niche practices while benefiting from the backing of a leading national platform.
    Position Overview
The firm is seeking an experienced Healthcare Regulatory Partner to join its dynamic team. This individual will counsel a variety of healthcare clients-including hospitals, health systems, physician practices, software/device companies, and emerging health tech platforms-on a range of compliance, regulatory, and operational matters. The ideal candidate will bring a portable book of business of at least $500k - $1M+ and a strong track record in delivering value-driven counsel.
    Key Responsibilities
    • Advise healthcare clients on federal and state healthcare regulations, including fraud and abuse laws, Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute, HIPAA, and Medicare/Medicaid compliance.
    • Counsel clients on business structuring, operational compliance, licensing, and corporate governance in healthcare transactions.
    • Navigate regulatory risks in transactions involving private equity and venture-backed healthcare entities.
    • Provide guidance on telemedicine, digital health platforms, and value-based care initiatives.
    • Collaborate with litigation, corporate, and labor & employment attorneys across the firm.
    • Build and grow a niche healthcare regulatory practice within the firm's established national platform.

    Candidate Requirements
    • Active license to practice law in one of the listed states (NY, PA, NJ, or TN).
    • If portable book of business: $1M+ (estimated take-home: $500k-$600k).
    • Deep knowledge of federal and state healthcare regulations and regulatory agencies.
    • Comfortable billing at competitive rates:
    • Junior Partner: $600/hr
    • Senior Partner: $700/hr+
    • Proven ability to independently manage client relationships and regulatory workstreams.
    • Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to thrive in a collaborative yet autonomous environment.

    Additional Information
    • Billing Target: 1,600 hours/year (flexible for larger books).
    • Client Base: Ranges from enterprise clients to mid-size healthcare businesses.

    Firm Culture:
    • High-performing but not a "sweatshop."
    • Encourages independent development of niche practices.
    • Late nights/early mornings are occasionally expected.
    • Paralegal support limited in this practice group (more prominent in litigation).
