Job description

Job Summary:
Nightwing Intelligence Solutions provides advanced cyber and data operations services to meet demanding challenges. They are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead the design and delivery of complex software systems that support critical operations.
Responsibilities:
• Lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of sophisticated software systems supporting mission-critical programs.
• Apply advanced software engineering principles and agile methodologies to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance applications.
• Work independently on complex functional tasks while contributing to the overall technical direction of the program.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions meet technical, functional, and security requirements across the full development lifecycle.
• Provide technical leadership by mentoring junior engineers and, when assigned, overseeing the work of staff supporting specific initiatives.
• Support high-visibility efforts where reliability, performance, and security are paramount.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Candidates must have an active TS/SCI with CI Poly clearance
• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience, or a qualifying substitution as defined by program guidelines
• Current TS/SCI CI Poly
• IAT Level II certification compliance (required)
• Proven experience delivering complex systems in environments with stringent security and operational requirements
• Strong ability to work independently while influencing team success and technical outcomes
