Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) Job Description

New Patterns ABA VA: Where Every Voice is Heard

We are excited to announce an opportunity to join our team as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) at New Patterns ABA VA, where we are committed to delivering compassionate, flexible, and collaborative in-home and community-based ABA therapy. Our goal is to empower each individual to reach their full potential, and we are seeking dedicated professionals to help us achieve this mission.

Responsibilities:

As a BCBA, you will be responsible for:

  • Serving clients in their homes, schools, or community settings as needed

  • Assisting in conducting assessments and developing behavior intervention plans for individuals on the Autism Spectrum and with other qualifying diagnoses

  • Implementing and monitoring behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA

  • Providing training and support to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and caregivers on implementing behavior intervention strategies

  • Collecting and analyzing data to track progress and make data-driven decisions

  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care

  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical documentation and records using Central Reach

  • Adhering to HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality of patient information

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Board Certification as an Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA)

  • Flexibility, empathy, patience, and a solution-oriented, client-centered approach

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
