Job Description:

Position Summary:

The Financial Analyst, FP&A prepares standard and ad-hoc financial reports for the Firm's practice group leaders and senior managing partners to help understand results and guide business decisions. The Financial Analyst, FP&A works under general supervision and relies on limited experience and direction to perform duties.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

- Prepare standard and ad hoc financial reports summarizing key performance indicators and profitability at the practice group, office, and attorney level
- Support the financial managers in design and preparation of the monthly financial reporting package; participate in monthly review calls with senior management and address follow-ups
- Configure specifications to accurately and efficiently extract data from the Firm's financial reporting software
- Troubleshoot, investigate and resolve inquiries related to financial matters; collaborate with other analysts within team and cross-functionally to resolve issues
- Perform ongoing audits of financial system data to ensure data accuracy and compliance with financial reporting standard operating procedures
- Assist with the annual budgeting process and the analysis of lateral hires
- Support the maintenance of the Firm's financial software and reporting tools
- Assist with quarterly and annual bank surveys

Job Specifications:

- Bachelor's degree
- 1-3 years of finance, accounting or consulting experience
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word)
- Familiarity with financial reporting software
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize responsibilities
- Ability to handle and maintain confidential information
- Ability to learn new concepts and skills quickly
- Ability to work collaboratively on a team

Target Hiring Range $81,000 - $102,000

Please note that quoted salary ranges are not guarantees of what final salary offers may be. Base pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base pay is only one part of the Total Rewards that MWE provides to compensate and recognize our staff professionals for their work. Full time positions are eligible for a discretionary bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
