Position Overview

Mindset Mastery Behavioral Health Solutions is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC, LMFT, LCISW) to join our team in Federal Way, Washington. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients, evaluating their mental health status and identifying their psychological needs.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans that cater to a variety of mental health conditions, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and eating disorders.
  • Provide one-on-one therapy, employing evidence-based techniques and culturally responsive approaches to foster client engagement and progress.
  • Facilitate group therapy sessions that promote shared experiences and mutual support, focusing on specific issues such as anxiety management and emotional regulation.
  • Regularly monitor clients’ progress, adapting treatment strategies as necessary to ensure effective outcomes.
  • Reference and collaborate with other healthcare providers as needed, ensuring comprehensive care for clients experiencing complex issues.
  • Document all interactions and treatment plans accurately in the EHR system to maintain compliance and enhance organizational efficiency.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients you will serve at Mindset Mastery come from diverse backgrounds and may present with a variety of complex mental health issues. This includes individuals affected by depression, anxiety disorders, trauma, substance use issues, and relationship challenges. A culturally competent approach is essential to effectively address the unique needs of each client, helping them navigate their personal and emotional struggles.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid licensure as an LMHC, LMFT, or LCISW within the state of Washington.
  • A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience, providing services to a diverse client population.
  • A deep understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment approaches.
  • Effective crisis intervention skills, with the ability to stay composed in high-pressure situations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building rapport and trust with clients from various backgrounds.
  • Ability to utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems competently.
  • Commitment to maintaining ethical professional boundaries, confidentiality, and adhering to industry guidelines.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working in outpatient settings or telehealth environments.
  • Training or expertise in specific therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
  • Familiarity with community resources and the ability to provide comprehensive referrals.
Compensation and Benefits
