Job description

We are seeking a reliable, mechanically inclined Electrical / Mechanical Technician to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in electrical and mechanical systems who is eager to expand their skills through hands-on training. Industry certifications are a plus, but not required for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical and mechanical systems
  • Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical drawings
  • Diagnose electrical issues using meters, test equipment, and logical troubleshooting methods
  • Work with motors, relays, sensors, switches, and control components
  • Assist with mechanical assemblies, adjustments, and component replacements
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
  • Follow safety procedures and company standards at all times
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors

Required Qualifications

  • Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude
  • Hands-on experience with electrical systems (AC/DC, low voltage, controls, etc.)
  • Comfortable using basic hand tools and power tools
  • Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve independently
  • Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
  • Willingness to learn, be trained, and grow within the company

Preferred Qualifications (Not Required)

  • Electrical, mechanical, or industrial maintenance experience
  • Trade school, vocational training, or technical certifications
  • Experience in manufacturing, industrial, construction, or service environments
  • Any relevant certifications (or willingness to obtain them)
