Job description

Clinician, Mercer County

We are an equal employment opportunity employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status or any other characteristic protected by law.

Clinician needed for full-time position in Mercer County (Trenton). We are seeking a full-time Clinician to provide emotional and behavioral treatment services for a small caseload of five youth, ages 9-12, at our Trenton location. The Clinician will play a key role in supporting youth and their families through therapeutic interventions focused on emotional regulation, behavioral management, and positive youth development.

Responsibilities include developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, conducting weekly individual, family, and group therapy sessions, and providing therapeutic services that reflect assessment findings and identified treatment needs. The Clinician will support youth with behavioral challenges through structured interventions while creating engaging lesson plans and session agendas designed to strengthen coping skills, emotional regulation, communication, and family functioning. Collaboration with families, treatment team members, and community support is an essential component of this role.

NJ LSW. Candidates must also have a documented plan to obtain independent clinical licensure within three years. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with behavioral needs and demonstrate the ability to provide structured, creative, and developmentally appropriate therapeutic interventions that support treatment goals and long-term success for youth and families.
