Job description

TITLE: Physician, Nuclear Medicine (Full-time)

SCHEDULE:Monday through Friday plus Call

COMPENSATION*$425,000 to $525,000

MemorialCare Medical Group (MCMG) is looking for a fellowship-trained Nuclear Medicine physician for a full-time employment opportunity at MemorialCare Long Beach Medical Center and Miller Children's and Women's Hospital in Long Beach, California.Must be board-certified (or eligible) in Nuclear Medicine.

Job Description and Practice Information

  • Full gamut of nuclear medicine, including adult and pediatric imaging
  • Comprehensive cancer center with high-volume oncological imaging
  • Proficiency in PET/ CT (including PSMA, DOTATATE PET)
  • Radiopharmaceutical therapies (Y-90, Lutathera, Pluvicto)
  • Cardiac nuclear medicine/SPECT CT, cardiac amyloid scintigraphy, lymphoscintigraphy
  • Participate in specialized tumor board coverage
  • Flexible schedule to include onsite and remote on-call shifts
  • Opportunity to practice 100% subspecialized nuclear medicine or participate in radiology coverage, as desired
  • In-house licensing/credentialing team
  • 24/7 PACS/IT support

Qualifications

  • M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited medical school
  • ABR Board Certified or Board Eligible with Nuclear Medicine fellowship or ABNM certified
  • Unrestricted California medical license (or eligible)
  • Eligible to obtain Radioactive Materials License
  • Resident of California
  • California medical license (active or eligible)
  • Prior experience in a hospital or inpatient setting preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of post-fellowship clinical experience preferred
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a high-acuity, fast-paced clinical environment

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to perform essential functions of a Nuclear Medicine physician
