Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations for patients referred by physicians to develop personalized treatment plans based on their specific needs.
  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, utilizing a variety of techniques tailored to each patient's condition in the outpatient clinic.
  • Provide thorough education and training to patients and their caregivers, empowering them to manage their recovery and enhance their overall health.
  • Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal rehabilitation outcomes.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, discussing cases to maximize patient care and utilizing best practices for effective recovery.
  • Exemplify outstanding customer service, building strong rapport with patients and their families while contributing to the clinic’s positive atmosphere.
  • Achieve targeted utilization goals, ensuring the practice’s financial objectives are met while maintaining high-quality care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate for this position will have a diverse caseload, treating a variety of patients across different specialties, including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine. You will work closely with patients who are recovering from surgery, injuries, and chronic pain, tailoring your treatment strategies to align with their unique health histories and rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications
  • Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
  • A valid state license to practice Physical Therapy in New Jersey.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare team members.
  • Proficiency in word processing and computer skills for documentation and reporting purposes.
  • Ability to develop and maintain trusting relationships with patients, fostering an environment conducive to healing and recovery.
  • Dedication to upholding the clinic's values and mission in all aspects of your work.
Preferred Experience
  • At least two years of experience in a clinical setting focusing on physical therapy, particularly in orthopedic and sports medicine.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association.
  • A track record of utilizing research-driven treatment methodologies to promote patient recovery.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes performance-based incentives, reimbursement for local and national organization dues and license renewal fees, fitness incentives, insurance benefits, an employee assistance program, paid parental leave, a 401(k) plan with profit-sharing, and a generous PTO package, which includes accrual for employee illness bank (EIB).
