Job Opportunity: Neonatologist in Las Vegas, NV

Join a well-established neonatology practice in the vibrant suburbs of Las Vegas! As part of a team of 16 Neonatologists and 8 NNPs at Summerlin Hospital Medical Center, you'll be working in a supportive and dynamic environment that offers a range of advanced care services. This full-time, permanent position is perfect for those seeking to make an impact in neonatology while enjoying the excitement of life in Las Vegas.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide neonatology care as part of a collaborative team.
  • Engage with 24-hour shifts, including in-house on-call duties.
  • Commit to a full-time schedule of 7.5 shifts per month.
  • Support provided by NNPs during your shifts.
  • Visit and serve patients at four area hospitals, each with Level-III NICUs.
  • Utilize advanced technologies and treatments, including iNO, high-frequency ventilation, and total body cooling.
  • Participate in an active transport program and various subspecialty supports.
  • Engage in continuous quality improvement and clinical research initiatives.
  • Residency within the local area may be required; relocation assistance is possible.
  • Open to both experienced candidates and new graduates through 2025 (must be board eligible).
Qualifications:
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine.
  • Active Nevada state license or ability to obtain one.
  • Recent NPDB Self Query Report (active within the last 30 days).
  • Clean malpractice/license history is highly preferred.
  • Ability to work without visa sponsorship (not accepting visa candidates).
  • Exceptional communication and teamwork skills.
License and Certification Requirements:
  • Truly Board Eligible (within 5 years) or Board Certified in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine - Required
  • Nevada medical license (or willingness to obtain) - Required
  • DEA (must be obtained prior to start) - Required
  • CSR/CDS (must be obtained prior to start) - Required
  • Clean malpractice and license history is highly preferred.
