Position Overview

Motion Matrix Counseling is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our team. This full-time position is predominantly remote, enabling flexibility while providing quality mental health care to our clients. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough and ongoing assessments to understand and address the individual needs of patients effectively.
• Engage in open communication with supervisors, patients' families, and other healthcare professionals to discuss patient progress and any necessary adjustments to care plans.
• Develop and maintain a complete schedule of appointments, home visits, and clinical observations to ensure timely follow-up and monitoring.
• Coordinate and execute home visits that provide insight into patients’ environments, facilitating comprehensive care.
• Oversee the implementation of treatment plans to ensure they are effectively executed and monitor their impact on patients' progress.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss treatment strategies and collaborate on patient care.
• Document progress and insights through detailed monthly and quarterly reports to track advancements and outcomes.
• Lead training sessions to keep staff informed and proficient, ensuring the proper implementation of treatment protocols.
• Provide follow-up interviews and observations to continually support and adapt to individual patients' evolving needs.
• Maintain accurate and secure records to ensure compliance and facilitate access for authorized personnel.
• Act as a liaison within the mental health community to advocate for patients and support their developmental goals.
• Assist in developing training materials and programs that enhance treatment efficacy and staff competency.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our counselors are dedicated to serving diverse populations, including adults, families, and youth grappling with various mental health challenges. Clients may present with issues ranging from anxiety and depression to trauma, substance misuse, and relational dynamics. With a focus on individualized care, this role requires sensitivity and adaptability to meet the unique needs of each patient.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Arizona.
• At least two years of clinical counseling experience is essential, preferably in a behavioral health setting.
• Expertise in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance use counseling is preferred.
• A solid understanding of legal, ethical, and clinical standards applicable to counseling practices.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport and trust with a diverse clientele.
• Demonstrated capability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team and contribute to shared goals.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) software and technology used in counseling services.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with diverse populations and addressing varying mental health issues.
• Specific backgrounds in trauma-informed care or treatment methodologies that support vulnerable groups are a plus.
