Job description

Job Responsibilities:
IP Infusion is looking for a motivated and talented individual interested in working on platform integration.
  1.  Integrate L2, L3 and MPLS features in dataplane and integrate with 3rd party SDK.
  2. Contribute in software design, development, review, and documentations to deliver high quality products.
  3. Trouble shoot and fix reported issues with routing protocol and services.
  4. Continuous learning and development of skills in system and network virtualization.
  5. Work in close co-ordination with other team members including offshore development team.
Qualifications:
  • Solid understanding of Linux networking and operating systems concepts.
  • Solid knowledge and 7+ year experience of IP networking stack in Linux or similar embedded operating systems
  • Strong foundation on Operating Systems concepts such as memory management, IPC, scheduling, task switching etc. and C/C++ programming languages.
  • Experience designing and developing network protocols, analyzing and improving existing protocol specifications.
  • Experience with Broadcom or Marvell SDK or any contemporary Chipset is preferred.
  • Knowledge and experience of complex software design for distributed systems in embedded networking/telecommunications projects.
  • Experience with design and development of Layer 2, Layer 3, MPLS networking control and/or data plane software.
  • Experience in designing and developing data plane for Broadcom chipset like Trident/Tomahawk/Qumran etc.
  • Strong communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills are essential.
  • Exposure to OS system calls and kernel APIs will be plus.
  • Any Scripting knowledge is added advantage.

Compensation Information:
Please note that the offered rate of compensation will be based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including education, experience, qualifications, the external labor market, and internal equity. Variable incentives may also be offered. The Salary range for this role is $180,000 -$220,000/ annual salary. Salary is negotiable for the right candidate.
