The Pfister Hotel has received AAA Four Diamond hotel status for over 50 consecutive years.
What you will be doing
Collaborate with Banquet Chefs and culinary team members to prepare and execute high-volume food production for banquets, special events, and catered functions while meeting service timelines and quality standards.
Prepare, cook, and present menu items accurately and efficiently in accordance with standardized recipes, portion controls, and food safety guidelines.
Utilize production schedules, prep sheets, and banquet event orders (BEOs) to ensure the appropriate quantity and quality of ingredients are prepared for scheduled functions.
Maintain a high level of consistency in food quality, taste, presentation, and portioning to ensure an exceptional guest dining experience.
Monitor and maintain inventory levels, properly store and label products, and communicate supply needs to support efficient banquet operations and minimize waste.
Position Requirements
Possess understanding of food safety requirements with the ability to maintain compliance in a high-volume kitchen environment
Ability to consistently follow recipes, production sheets, and portion guidelines with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Strong time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet production deadlines
Possess the physical ability to stand for extended periods during shifts
Flexibility to work varying schedules based on banquet needs
