Senior Mechanical Engineer | Energy

• Compensation: $150,000-$230,000 plus performance-based pay

Responsibilities:

• Design, analyze, and optimize mechanical systems including turbomachinery, rotating equipment, gas turbines, compressors, pumps, heat exchangers, and pressure vessels.
• Perform engineering calculations, thermal and structural analyses, and support mechanical system performance improvements.
• Develop detailed mechanical designs, specifications, and technical documentation while ensuring compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
• Support equipment selection, commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, and reliability improvements throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver complex energy infrastructure projects safely, on schedule, and within budget.

Experience Required:

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a closely related field.
• 3+ years of experience designing, analyzing, or supporting turbomachinery, rotating equipment, gas turbines, steam turbines, compressors, pumps, heat exchangers, pressure vessels, or other heavy industrial mechanical systems.
• Experience performing thermal analysis, CFD, FEA, stress analysis, vibration analysis, or rotor dynamics is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with ASME and API design standards is highly valued.
• A results-driven mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced engineering environment.
• Experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks, Creo, AutoCAD, or similar mechanical design tools.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Thermal Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a closely related engineering discipline
