    Direct strategy and roadmaps for the department in support of business capabilities. Lead business case and annual operating plan development in collaboration with business and technology partners. Build engineering capability and capacity on the team through employee hires, contractors, and strategic vendor partners in support of agile delivery.

    Accountable for CapEx and OpEx financials (department and project), resource management, risk and dependency management and mitigation. Accountable for the successful planning and delivery of technology capabilities in collaboration with business, product, and cross-functional technology leaders. Telecommuting permitted up to 1 day/week.

    40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar technical field, and 10 years of experience in Information Technology (of which 5 years must be progressive, post-baccalaureate experience)

    Must have 5 years of experience leading complex, global technology initiatives in a Retail environment. Must have 5 years of experience working with and leading initiatives in the following areas: Integration services supporting enterprise applications in an omni-channel retail business. Implementing modern application architectures for the cloud leveraging practices and tools such as DevOps, Java frameworks, microservices, and CI/CD tools and practices.

    Implementing and operating software platforms from large enterprise vendors including Oracle. Must have 3 years of people management experience leading global engineering teams leveraging agile delivery practices with a team size of at least 15 people. Must have 2 years of experience working with and leading initiatives in the following areas: Implementing automated testing of enterprise applications and services.

    Being directly accountable for managing department and project/program budgets exceeding $3 million in annual expenditure. Implementing and maintaining solutions on middleware/messaging technologies such as Oracle Service Bus (OSB) and/or Kafka. Ensuring enterprise systems meet cybersecurity standards.

    Managing SOX compliant systems. Must have 1 year of experience working with: Negotiating and managing system integrator and/or managed services contracts with top-tier vendors and contract values exceeding $2M. Working with mixed onshore / offshore teams.

    Leading the transition of enterprise systems from on-premise to cloud hosting. Communicating with technology, product, and business leadership. Up to 10% domestic and international travel required.
