LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking an experienced Labor Relations Manager with a proven track record. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in labor relations, employee relations, and strategic HR leadership, with a deep understanding of collective bargaining, compliance, and workforce engagement. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned HR professional ready to expand their impact in both strategic HR initiatives and labor relations management.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with senior leadership to support all HR functions, with a focus on labor relations and people strategy aligned to business objectives
- Serve as the primary point of contact for union relations, including contract administration, grievance handling, and dispute resolution
- Advise senior management on employee relations matters, labor compliance, performance management, and workforce planning
- Lead or support collective bargaining negotiations, including preparation, strategy development, and execution
- Coach and support HR team members and leaders on labor relations best practices and employee engagement strategies
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, as well as collective bargaining agreements
- Collaborate with operations and leadership teams to proactively address workforce concerns and enhance employee relations
- Analyze trends, metrics, and labor data to provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership
- 5+ years of experience in human resources, with significant experience in labor relations and union environments
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Proven experience with collective bargaining, grievance processes, and labor contract administration
- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex employee relations issues and drive resolution
- Strong knowledge of labor laws, compliance requirements, and HR best practices
- Experience with HRIS systems, reporting, and workforce analytics
- Certification from SHRM or a related professional organization is a plus.
