Job Summary:
Cymertek Corporation is seeking a skilled Cloud Big Data Software Engineer to join their team and play a pivotal role in designing and developing cloud-based big data solutions. The role involves building scalable systems capable of handling large volumes of data and collaborating with data teams to drive impactful projects.
Responsibilities:
• Design and implement big data solutions in cloud environments
• Develop and maintain data pipelines for large-scale processing
• Optimize system performance and scalability
• Collaborate with data teams to define requirements and solutions
• Ensure data security and compliance standards are met
• Document system architecture and workflows
Qualifications:
Required:
• Proficiency in programming languages like Python or Java
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Expertise in big data tools such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka
• Knowledge of distributed systems and parallel processing
• Understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Cloud Computing, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Applied Mathematics, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Electrical Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Statistics, etc.
• TS/SCI Full Poly clearance
• Full U.S. Citizenship
Preferred:
• Familiarity with real-time analytics platforms
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform
• Understanding of serverless computing models
• Experience with advanced data visualization frameworks
• Knowledge of cost optimization techniques for cloud systems
