Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Kaiser Physical Therapy, you will:

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at relieving pain, enhancing mobility, and restoring functionality for a range of physical conditions.
• Direct and supervise physical therapy assistants, ensuring they deliver treatments in alignment with the established plan of care.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients’ functional abilities through diagnostic tests, directly impacting the development of their rehabilitation strategies.
• Observe and document patients’ progress meticulously, reporting any changes to the case manager and adjusting treatment plans as needed.
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises, assistive devices, and techniques to promote independence in daily activities.
• Participate actively in interdisciplinary team meetings, contributing insights that enhance the overall treatment goals for each patient.
• Manage and maintain accurate patient clinical records, including initial evaluations, care plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
• Utilize proven therapeutic modalities such as manual therapy, ultrasound, and activities of daily living training to optimize rehabilitation results.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role as a Physical Therapist will involve working with a diverse range of patients facing various physical challenges, including post-operative recovery, chronic pain management, sports injuries, and neurological disorders. You will be dedicated to assessing their specific needs and providing them with exceptional care that emphasizes rehabilitation, prevention, and education.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited university.
• Current and valid state licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• Current CPR certification.
• A valid driver’s license with appropriate automobile insurance coverage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients and facilitate family involvement in the rehabilitation process.

Preferred Experience
