    Key Responsibilities
    • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients, interpreting findings to determine the extent of their dysfunction and establishing treatment goals.
    • Design and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations, continuously monitoring effectiveness and modifying goals as necessary to ensure optimal recovery.
    • Engage in direct patient care through therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and education on proper movement and postures.
    • Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, occupational therapists, and nursing staff, to ensure integrated treatment approaches and continuity of care.
    • Initiate and manage discharge planning, ensuring patients transition safely from rehabilitation to independence while providing education and resources for ongoing wellness.
    • Document patient care comprehensively and accurately, maintaining up-to-date records that reflect progress, treatment modifications, and patient education.
    Patient Population / Client Focus

    In this role, you will primarily work with outpatient orthopedic patients ranging from adolescents to seniors, addressing a variety of conditions such as post-surgical recovery, sports injuries, chronic pain, and musculoskeletal disorders. You will have the opportunity to customize treatment plans that take into consideration each patient's lifestyle, needs, and recovery goals, fostering a holistic approach to rehabilitation.

    Qualifications
    • A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program, or equivalent foreign-trained credentials.
    • A valid California Physical Therapist License at the time of hire.
    • National Provider Identifier (NPI) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon employment.
    • Commitment to working in a Labor/Management Partnership environment.
    Preferred Experience
    • Experience working in outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation settings is highly desirable.
    • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
    • Previous involvement in patient education initiatives or community outreach programs is a plus.
    Compensation and Benefits

    The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 120,000 to 130,000, commensurate with experience.
