    Overview
    Joby Aviation is seeking a passionate and driven Aircraft Maintenance Systems Program Manager
    based in Marina, CA. This role reports to Joby's Maintenance Manager and
    administers, optimizes, and manages the maintenance software system to support workflows, data integrity, reporting, and continuous improvement. This role will be responsible for managing the Maintenance organization's software platforms, vendor performance, APIs, and process creation for users.
    Responsibilities
    • Manage all maintenance software programs and their interfaces.
    • Ensure maintenance software programs and API's are set up correctly for JOBY Aviation's requirements.
    • Manage and support vendor relationships and performance.
    • Manage data tables and build required dashboards, reports, and tracking tools.
    • Identify and suggest areas of improvement.
    • Develop user guides and training materials for all maintenance software programs.
    • Continually monitor and manage the operation and accuracy of maintenance software.
    • Provide troubleshooting assistance with maintenance operation software, coordinate with vendor for system upgrades and minimize system downtime.
    • Ensure all maintenance software and the data contained within always meets or exceeds regulatory requirements.
    • Support ADHOC requests from other departments pertaining to the maintenance software and their data.
    • Perform software administrator duties including, data entry, preparing reports, and supporting other teams.
    • Coordinate with organization stake holders to ensure proper establishment and leverage of maintenance software, including construct, processes, reports, and training.
    • Liaise with flight test engineers, test conductors/directors, pilots, and design engineering teams to understand upcoming test requirements.
    • Coordinate with supply chain, quality assurance, and regulatory representatives.
    • Maintain accurate aircraft status boards, logbooks, and computerized maintenance tracking systems (e.g., IFS/Maintenix).
    • Recommend process improvements for efficiency, management, reporting and sequencing.
    • Other Duties as assigned.

    Required
    • Proven Experience as an administration level user in IFS and/or other software
      platforms.
    • A thorough understanding of Aviation maintenance organizations, operations, and regulations (i.e.: part 121, 135, 145)
    • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
    • 5+ years proven experience in a related field.
    • Strong SQL skills for data transformation and modeling.
    • Experience coordinating with and managing external vendors.
    • Project Management experience.
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills.
    • Self-motivated.
    • Collaborative team working skills.

    • Master's degree in computer science or a related field

    Compensation at Joby is a combination of base pay and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs). The target base pay for this position is $115,000 - $176,000/year. The compensation package will be determined by job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
