    Jefferson Einstein Montgomery Hospital is seeking an experienced Chief CRNA to provide clinical leadership, operational oversight, and team development for our CRNA practice. This role offers an opportunity to lead a collaborative anesthesia team while advancing quality, efficiency, and excellence in patient care within a growing academic health system.

    Jefferson Einstein Montgomery Hospital is seeking an experienced Chief CRNA to provide clinical and operational leadership for our CRNA team. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing daily CRNA operations, staffing, scheduling, quality initiatives, and team development while collaborating closely with the Chair of Anesthesiology, anesthesiologists, surgeons, nursing leadership, and perioperative services to ensure exceptional patient care.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide leadership and oversight of the CRNA team, ensuring efficient daily operations and appropriate clinical staffing.
    • Develop and manage CRNA schedules to support operating room efficiency and patient care needs.
    • Lead recruitment, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, orientation, and retention of CRNA staff.
    • Conduct performance evaluations, provide coaching and mentorship, and support professional development.
    • Foster a collaborative work environment by serving as the liaison between CRNAs, anesthesiologists, surgeons, nursing leadership, and perioperative services.
    • Promote patient safety, quality improvement, and evidence-based clinical practice.
    • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, accreditation standards, and state and federal regulatory requirements.
    • Participate in departmental leadership meetings, strategic planning, budget discussions, and operational initiatives.
    • Support continuous process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and patient satisfaction.
    • Collaborate with hospital leadership to advance departmental goals and organizational priorities.
    Required Qualifications
    • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program.
    • Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing or Nurse Anesthesia.
    • Current Pennsylvania RN and CRNA licensure (or eligibility for licensure).
    • Current certification by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
    • Current BLS and ACLS certifications (PALS preferred).
    • Minimum of five (5) years of clinical CRNA experience.
    • Previous leadership, supervisory, or management experience strongly preferred.
